Treatment Descriptions

Nails

CND Shellac gel hybrid offers a beautiful range of colours that suit any occasion and matches any outfit!

The hybrid gel allows for the smooth application and gentleness of a normal polish but the strength, protection and longevity of a gel polish.

Shellac Gel Manicure 60 mins

We start by cleansing the nails, discussing the desired nail shape for you, cleaning up the cuticles, dehydrating the nails and applying the colour. We finish with some cuticle oil and a soothing hand massage.

Shellac Gel Pedicure 45 mins

We start by cleansing the nails, shaping the nails, cleaning up the cuticles, dehydrating the nails and applying the colour. We finish with some cuticle oil.

Shellac Gel Dry Spa Pedicure 75 mins

The dry pedicure is the new wet pedicure! Using the e-file and other effective products, gives beautiful and lasting results for the soles and tops of the feet.

Shellac Gel Removal 15 mins

Using a moisturising acetone, we remove the shellac gel, shape the nails and prepare them for the next set of gels or finish with cuticle oil if no new gel is being applied.

CND Plexigel (builder gel) Manicure 90 mins

Builder gel alternative to stronger and longer lasting nails.

Facials

Here at Thalia, we use only the best products nature can offer. Ensuring the skin stays as healthy and radiant as nature intended. Once the heated bed is set to your desired temperature, the additional bolsters are set in place and the blanket is perfectly tucked in, we start with a double cleanse to rid the skin of any debris and everyday air pollution, followed by a refreshing toner to remove any excess product. Then comes the relaxing and muscle toning décolleté and facial massage to loosen the dead skin cells ready for a deep exfoliation. The specialist mask that best suits your skin type follows and while we leave it on to work its magic, we offer either a hand and arm massage, scalp massage or a foot massage with aromatherapy oils to help your whole body completely relax. We finish with a serum, eye cream and moisturiser.

Facial 30 mins

The 30 mins facial focuses more on a deep cleanse and relaxation whereas....

Facial 60 mins

The 60 minute facial focuses on a deep cleanse and deep moisturisation, all using beautifully sensitive products.

Tinting

All tinting treatments require a 48 hour patch test to ensure no reactions or allergies are present. No tinting treatment can be booked unless patch test has been worn for minimum of 48 hours. clients are welcome to visit the cabin to receive a patch test, or we can post a patch test in the form of a plater which can be worn on arm or leg for 48 hours.

Tinting is similar to hair dye where it uses colour and peroxide to change the colour of either brows or lashes.

Brows 15 min

Tinting is similar to hair dye where it uses colour and peroxide to change/darken the colour of either brows or lashes. If left on long enough, the tint can also stain the skin and create a beautifully natural brow shape, however isn't possible if a light brown/light black look is desired, only dark brown/dark black due to the extended time to develop the tint. We have brown, black, blue black (darker than black - typically used on lashes) and grey tint on offer. Including sensitive brown tint, for particularly sensitive skin types.

Some would choose to darken their brows if one brow is naturally darker than the other, one brow is naturally longer than the other or simply, the brows are naturally lighter than their desired look. the 15 mins treatment time also includes a consultation of your desired shape and darkness and what we advise is best for you!

Lashes 15 mins

It is very common for the tips of our lashes to lighten over time, making them appear shorter than they are. Tinting lashes with brown/black/blue black tint helps to show the natural length of your lashes and gives the appearance of wearing mascara without the need to regularly apply it.

Lashes

Lash Lift 75 mins

A lash lift uses certain specialised chemicals to create a curve in the natural lashes. This treatment works wonders for someone who has naturally straight or down facing lashes. For the more stubborn lashes, multiple treatments are necessary to create the perfectly curved lashes. The beginning of the treatment will be spent discussing your lash desires and realistic expectations and also the process of the treatment.

This treatment consists of having your eyes closed throughout and you will not be able to open them until the treatment has ended. Not advised for clients who suffer with claustrophobia.

Massage

Here at Thalia we offer a wide range of massages to suit everyones needs. From Swedish massage/hot stone massage/pregnancy massage/reflexology and Indian Head Massage to help you to completely unwind and relax, to deep tissue massage, focusing on specific areas of concern, break down any deeper tension and/or knots and release stress on the body. Thai massage increases mobility and flexibility through stretching and palm pressing techniques. enquire to find out what massage would work best for you. With the choice of a 30/60/90/120 minute bespoke massage.

Pregnancy massage 60 mins

From 12 weeks + enjoy a full body relaxing experience. Including a back, side of the legs, feet, bump (optional), hand and arm, décolleté, face and scalp massage. We are more than happy to cater your selected time to an area which is in the most need of attention, just let us know t the beginning of the treatment!

Swedish massage

A soft to medium pressure massage to help soothe and destress the body. Perfect if you struggle to shut off from the world and have difficulties sleeping. Available in 30,60 and 90 minute massages - of course we would always recommend booking in for a longer time to really experience the full relaxation process.

Deep tissue massage

A medium to firm pressure massage to iron out the niggling aches and pains from deeper tension and knots in and around the muscles. Plenty of elbows and forearms are used to deliver the most effective results. Perfect for anyone suffering with body aches/pains/stiffness. Available to book 30,60,90 and 120 minute treatments.

Lava shell massage

This medium pressure massage uses the heat absorbed by the tiger clam shells to deliver an incredibly relaxing winter warming experience. While it increases blood flow around the body, it also boosts wellbeing and calm in the mind. Available in 30 and 60 minute treatment options.

Additional massage 15 mins

If you're a lover of a legs and feet/hands and arms/decollete/scalp massage, why not add on an extra 15 mins of those areas to your full body massage or facial treatment!

Reflexology

Following ancient Egyptian techniques and movements, we apply pressure in certain points on the soles of the feet to help the body to completely destress and encourages self healing! 30 and 60 minute options available.

The power of touch (TPOT)

Following the methods of The Power Of Touch, we are able to treat those who are currently suffering or who are recovering from Cancer. Ensuring you are in your most comfortable position, surrounded by pillows and blankets, adjusted completely to your liking. A soft to medium pressure allows the body to relax and slowly destress.

Warm candle add on

For only an extra £5, turn your massage into a beautifully warm and deeply moisturising treat with heated candle wax!

Indian head massage

One of the first ever recorded massages, the Indian Head Massage uses pressure points, friction, pulling and vibration techniques to encourage the hair follicle growth, reduce headaches, help to ease neck stiffness as well as a full body destress. 30 and 60 minute treatments available focusing on the décolleté, neck, trapezius, face, scalp and hair.

Waxing

We pride ourselves in using only the best of the best wax on the market, in our opinion! LYCON, has meticulously formulated a smooth, gentle and effective product with only the finest resins, natural ingredients and aromatherapy oils which is guaranteed to remove even the most stubborn hair from as short as 1mm.

Both hot and warm wax delivers the perfect finish.
